The EVO will be the answer for many Epic riders. When the Epic was overhauled for 2018, it got a dropper friendly 30.9mm seat tube (was 27.2 before). It wasn't previously spec'd with a dropper, but most of the ones we sold had droppers added. Customers were also putting chunkier tyres on them (particularly on the front). The 2018 Epic is already the best XC bike, but people were wanting a little more "trail" out of it.
Basically, the EVO is the more shreddy Epic that quite a few customers are looking for. With a longer fork, it's taller in the front end making it a more comfortable marathon bike. Now spec'd with a dropper post, bigger fork, wider bars and meaty tyres, the Epic EVO is the all-day, backcountry ripper.
We offer a free 6 week check on all new bikes that we sell to guarantee that your bike is still running sweet. This check is basically the last step in a bike's quality control.
We go over the bike and make sure it's safe, gears are tuned up, bolts are torqued up and that there are no potential issues.
Warranty
Specialized has one of the bike industry's most generous, rider-oriented warranty policies to offer. They have expanded their coverage across their range of bikes and gear.
Their frames and Roval wheels have a lifetime warranty and most warranties become transferrable to a subsequent owner, who will then be eligible for warranty 2 years
from the original retail purchase date.
