Shipping policy

Items available on our website are not always available in-store, some are only held by our suppliers. In-store items usually arrive 2-3 business days after the order is placed (rural deliveries can take an extra 2 business days). Items only held with supplier might take up to 7 business days to arrive, depending on the supplier. Please contact us if you have specific questions.

Bikes

We do not ship bikes, we're a local bike shop serving Canterbury. Bikes must be picked up by the customer, and they will be fully built and ready-to-ride, at our store in Christchurch.

Our goal is offering the best service possible. If you're not in Christchurch, you can locate your nearest Specialized dealer here.

Gear

We ship within New Zealand. Orders ship within 3 business days of placing the order, but usually go out faster.

Rural deliveries usually take an extra 2 business days. Some orders will come directly from our distributor.

If there's a specific item you need urgently, contact us first so we can see if we can get it to you in time.

Dangerous Goods Surcharge

What is Dangerous goods and why are you charged this fee?
“any substance or material that is capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, and property when transported in commerce”, this includes items such as batteries, aerosols, and flammable liquids.  Certain products may seem harmless but can become hazardous when moving through a transport network due to factors like pressure, temperature, static electricity and vibration.

Shipping Costs of Gear:

  Orders under $139, $9.90 Shipping Cost for Non Rural and $16.95 for Rural Shipping
  
• Dangerous Goods Surcharge
  There is an additional $6.95 per order for any order that contains a Dangerous Good. This is excluded from the Free Freight offer.

Orders over $139 (excluding Bikes & Bulky Items) is FREE Shipping Nationwide.

Please note: In some instances, orders containing products from multiple suppliers may incur separate shipping charges per supplier.

To avoid these additional charges, we offer free shipping on orders over $139. Simply spend $139 or more, and we’ll cover the shipping costs, no matter where your items are coming from.
