Maxxis tyres for BMX racing, freestyle, street riding, pump tracks and dirt jumps.
Shop Maxxis BMX and dirt-jump tyres in 20″, 24″ and 26″ sizes. The range includes quick-rolling race tyres, lightweight freestyle options and tougher street tyres built to handle concrete, hardpack and regular pump-track sessions.
Choose the Right Maxxis BMX Tyre
The Maxxis DTH is one of the most versatile options in the range. Its fast centre tread rolls easily on sealed surfaces and hardpack, while the shoulder tread provides support through berms and corners. It is a strong choice for pump tracks, dirt jumps, street riding and BMX racing.
The Maxxis Grifter is designed for freestyle BMX riders looking for a light, quick tyre. Its smooth tread suits skateparks and street riding, where easy acceleration and predictable handling matter more than grip in loose dirt.
For demanding street and urban riding, the Maxxis Hookworm uses a substantial tread that wraps around the sidewalls. It is heavier than a race-focused tyre but offers useful durability for concrete, sealed paths and regular everyday riding.
The Maxxis Holy Roller combines a tightly spaced tread with enough grip for hardpack. It works well for riders moving between pavement, pump tracks and compact dirt without wanting to change tyres.
BMX Race and Specialist Options
The Maxxis Torch is the race-focused option, with a fast tread suited to prepared BMX tracks.
The Maxxis M-Tread is built for freestyle, street and ramp riding, with tread extending around the sidewalls for protection and grip at steeper lean angles.
The Maxxis MaxxDaddy provides a more pronounced tread for dirt and hardpack, while the Maxxis Creepy Crawler is a specialist trials tyre available in front- and rear-specific sizes. Check the Creepy Crawler’s ETRTO measurements carefully because its rear option uses a specialist 387 mm trials rim.
Check Before Ordering
Confirm the wheel diameter and tyre width printed on your current tyre before ordering. Some Maxxis models are available in wire-bead and folding constructions, so check the selected product and variant carefully. Also make sure there is enough clearance in your frame and fork for the chosen width.
