Bleedkit Gold Hydraulic Mineral Oil is a high-performance brake fluid for bicycle hydraulic brake systems designed to use mineral oil. The 100 mL bottle provides enough fluid for several typical brake bleeds, although the amount required will depend on the brake system and servicing method.
Stable Performance Across Changing Conditions
With an initial boiling point of 360°C and a viscosity index of 200, Bleedkit Gold Mineral Oil is designed to deliver consistent lever feel and reliable brake performance across a wide temperature range.
Its gold colour also makes it easier to see old fluid, contamination and air bubbles as fresh fluid moves through the brake system.
Mineral-Oil Brake Compatibility
Suitable for compatible hydraulic brakes designed to use mineral oil, including selected Shimano, Magura, TRP, Tektro, Formula Cura and SRAM systems.
Some current SRAM brakes, including Maven, Motive and DB8, use mineral oil. Other SRAM and Avid brakes use DOT fluid, so compatibility cannot be determined by brand alone.
Always check the fluid specification printed on the brake lever or listed in the manufacturer’s service instructions before use. Some manufacturers specify their own approved mineral oil, particularly for warranty servicing.
Not Suitable for DOT Brake Systems
Do not use this fluid in brakes designed for DOT fluid, including SRAM DOT brakes, Avid, Hayes, Hope and selected older Formula systems.
Mineral oil and DOT fluid must never be mixed. Keep mineral-oil syringes, hoses and fittings completely separate from equipment used with DOT fluid to prevent cross-contamination and seal damage.

Bleedkit Gold Mineral Oil is made from renewable resources and is biodegradable according to OECD 301B testing. It is classified as a non-water pollutant and a non-hazardous good for transport.
Used brake fluid should still be collected and disposed of responsibly. Do not pour it onto the ground or into stormwater drains.
