A complete bleed kit for Shimano flat-bar hydraulic brakes.
The Bleedkit Premium Edition includes the fittings, funnel, syringe and bleed block needed to properly bleed Shimano flat-bar hydraulic brakes. It is a step up from the Basic kit, as the Shimano flat-bar bleed block, caliper syringe strap and 7 mm wrench are all included.
It is a tidy setup for home mechanics and workshops looking after Shimano mountain bike, e-bike and flat-bar commuter brakes. Brake fluid is not included.
Made for Shimano Flat-Bar Brakes
The M5-threaded funnel is designed for compatible Shimano flat-bar levers, while the caliper syringe and stainless steel tube insert create a guided connection at the bleed nipple. The included bleed block works with Shimano 2- and 4-piston flat-bar calipers.
This kit is not for Shimano road or gravel brakes. Those levers require a different adapter and smaller bleed block, both included in the Premium Road and Workshop kits.
Brake Fluid
This kit does not include brake fluid. Shimano hydraulic brakes use mineral oil. Shop brake fluid here.

Our Thoughts
This is the right Shimano kit for most mountain bike and e-bike owners. Unlike the Basic version, it has the bleed block and small workshop extras included, so you are ready to go once you add Shimano mineral oil. If you also work on GRX, 105, Ultegra or Dura-Ace brakes, choose the Premium Road or Workshop kit instead.
