A Complete Workshop Bleed Kit for SRAM Mineral-Oil Brakes, Including DB8, Maven and Motive.
The Bleedkit SRAM Mineral Workshop Kit includes the fittings, TPX syringes and bleed blocks needed to service SRAM hydraulic brakes that use mineral oil.
It is designed for current SRAM mineral-oil systems including DB8, Maven and Motive, with M4 fittings and an Edge adapter for the newer, larger Bleeding Edge port.
The two TPX syringes are easier to handle than basic syringes, making this a good option for regular home servicing or workshop use.
Please Note: Mineral Oil Is Not Included
This kit does not include brake fluid. Use only the mineral oil specified by SRAM for your exact brake model.
Made for SRAM Mineral-Oil Brakes
This kit is specifically for SRAM brakes that use mineral oil. It includes two M4 assemblies, an Edge adapter for the larger Bleeding Edge port and separate 11 mm bleed blocks for DB8 and Maven calipers.
Bleedkit lists the kit as compatible with all SRAM mineral-oil hydraulic brakes. Always check the service instructions for your exact brake model and use the correct bleed block before beginning.
TPX Syringes for Easier Handling
The supplied 20 mL TPX syringes are designed for repeated use and provide good control while pushing mineral oil through the brake system.
Combined with the correct fittings and bleed block, they help make the bleed cleaner and easier to manage.
What’s Included
- 2 x 20 mL TPX syringes
- 2 x M4 bleed assemblies
- 1 x Edge adapter for the newer, larger Bleeding Edge port

Not Compatible with SRAM DOT Brakes
This kit is not compatible with SRAM or Avid brakes that use DOT fluid. Mineral oil and DOT fluid must never be mixed.
Keep this kit completely separate from DOT bleeding equipment. Do not use syringes, hoses or fittings that have previously been used with DOT fluid, as cross-contamination can damage brake seals and affect braking performance.
Our Thoughts
This is the kit to choose if you regularly service SRAM’s current mineral-oil brakes. The dedicated DB8 and Maven bleed blocks are important, while the TPX syringes make the kit more pleasant to use than one supplied with basic syringes.
The only thing to watch is the fluid type. SRAM produces both mineral-oil and DOT brake systems, so check the information printed on the lever or SRAM’s service instructions before opening the brake.
