A Wide Alloy Enduro Handlebar with Practical Clamp and Rise Options.
The Burgtec Ride Wide Alloy Enduro Handlebar is built for trail, enduro and aggressive mountain biking. Its 800mm width provides plenty of steering leverage, while the 9-degree backsweep and 5-degree upsweep create a comfortable hand position for technical riding.
It is available with either a 31.8mm or 35mm centre clamp, with 15mm, 22.5mm and 30mm rise options depending on the selected clamp diameter.
Choose the Correct Clamp Diameter
The centre clamp diameter must match your stem. Choose the 31.8mm handlebar for a stem with a 31.8mm handlebar clamp or the 35mm version for a 35mm stem. The two sizes are not interchangeable.
A 35mm clamp is not automatically the better choice. If your current stem is in good condition and you are happy with how the bike feels, matching its existing clamp diameter is normally the most straightforward option.
Choose the Right Rise
- 15mm Rise: Creates a lower hand position for riders who already have enough cockpit height or prefer a more direct, front-weighted riding position
- 22.5mm Rise: Available with a 35mm clamp and provides a useful middle ground between the lower and taller options
- 30mm Rise: Raises the grips for riders wanting a slightly more upright position or additional front-end height
Final handlebar height also depends on the frame, fork, stem and headset spacers. Compare the measurements with your current setup rather than choosing by rise alone.
Available Configurations
- 31.8mm clamp with 15mm rise
- 31.8mm clamp with 30mm rise
- 35mm clamp with 15mm rise
- 35mm clamp with 22.5mm rise
- 35mm clamp with 30mm rise
800mm Width with Cut-Down Marks
The Ride Wide is supplied at 800mm, giving you room to trim it to suit your shoulder width, bike and riding style. Suggested cut-down marks make it easier to remove an equal amount from each end.
We recommend shortening the bar gradually. Cut a small amount from each side, reinstall the grips and controls and ride the bike before going narrower. Check that enough straight bar remains for your grips, brake levers, shifter and dropper remote.
Comfortable Ride Wide Shape
The combination of 9-degree backsweep and 5-degree upsweep angles the grips into a natural position. Bar rotation also changes the effective height and sweep, so begin with the alignment markings centred in the stem before making small adjustments.

Our Thoughts
The Ride Wide Alloy is a dependable option when you want a strong enduro handlebar without moving to carbon. The different clamp and rise configurations make it easier to match your existing cockpit, but the correct clamp diameter should always be selected first.
If you are unsure about width, begin at the full 800mm and shorten it only after riding the bike. Even a small change can noticeably affect steering leverage and body position.
