A Clean, Leverless Axle for Compatible RockShox Boost Forks.
The Burgtec RockShox Boost Front Fork Axle replaces the standard thru-axle on compatible RockShox Pike and Lyrik forks. Its leverless design provides extra clearance around the fork leg and creates a clean finish without a quick-release lever protruding from the bike.
Machined from 7075 aluminium, the axle uses a 6mm hex fitting at both ends. One side is used for normal installation and removal, while the second provides a useful backup if the primary fitting becomes damaged.
Check Your Fork Before Ordering
This axle is designed for compatible RockShox Pike and Lyrik forks using a 15 × 110mm Boost axle with an overall length of 158mm and an M15 × 1.5 thread.
It is not compatible with RockShox SID forks, including Boost SID models. Boost hub spacing alone does not confirm compatibility, so compare the length, diameter and thread of your original axle before ordering.
Leverless Design
Removing the external quick-release lever gives the axle a tidy appearance and reduces the chance of a lever being caught or knocked by trailside debris.
The axle is installed with a 6mm hex key, allowing a torque wrench to be used when tightening it. Always follow the fork manufacturer’s specified torque rather than relying on feel alone.
7075 Aluminium Construction
Burgtec machines the axle from strong 7075 aluminium to provide a durable replacement without unnecessary weight. A range of anodised colours makes it easy to match the axle with other Burgtec components or add a small detail to the front of the bike.

Our Thoughts
This is a worthwhile replacement if your original RockShox axle is damaged or you want to remove the external quick-release lever. The second 6mm fitting is a genuinely useful detail because it gives you another way to remove the axle if one end becomes rounded.
Compatibility is the important part. This is not a universal RockShox Boost axle and it does not fit SID forks. Check the measurements of your existing axle before ordering, particularly if the fork’s model or service history is uncertain.
