Responsive Trail and Enduro Wheels Sold Individually.
Stan’s Flow MK4 M-Pulse wheels combine a strong asymmetric aluminium rim with fast-engaging, low-drag hubs. They are suited to trail and enduro riders who want dependable tubeless performance, balanced handling and components that remain practical to service.
Front and rear wheels are sold individually. Purchase one compatible front and one rear if you require a complete wheelset.
Tubeless rim tape is installed, preparing each wheel for a compatible tubeless tyre, valve and sealant.
Flow MK4 Asymmetric Rim
The Flow MK4 rim is made from durable welded 6069 aluminium with a reinforced spoke bed. Stan’s BST Asymmetric design offsets the spoke holes to improve the bracing angles and create more balanced spoke tension across the wheel.
Its low-profile shape provides lateral support through corners while retaining enough radial compliance to maintain grip and control over rough ground.
The 30mm internal width is optimised for modern mountain bike tyres between approximately 2.3 and 2.6 inches wide. Traditional Sapim J-bend spokes are strong, widely available and straightforward to replace.
M-Pulse Hubs
M-Pulse rear hubs use six magnetically actuated pawls rather than conventional pawl springs. Neodymium magnets reduce resistance while coasting and draw the pawls securely into engagement when power is applied.
With 216 engagement points and only 1.66 degrees of rotation before engagement, the rear hub responds quickly during technical climbs and sections requiring short pedal inputs.
The hubs use 17mm 7075 aluminium axles, Enduro bearings and adjustable bearing preload. Shielded construction helps protect the bearings from water, dust and trail debris.

Our Thoughts
The Flow MK4 is a useful middle ground between lighter trail wheels and heavier gravity-focused wheels such as the Flow EX3. It is strong enough for hard trail and enduro riding without carrying unnecessary weight.
The M-Pulse rear hub is the standout feature, particularly on technical terrain where its quick engagement is easy to notice. Before ordering, confirm the wheel position, diameter, axle configuration, rotor fitting and rear freehub requirement.
