Genuine FOX air-volume spacers for tuning selected FOX suspension forks.

Volume spacers let you adjust how progressive your fork feels through its travel. If the fork is correctly set for sag but uses full travel too easily, adding a spacer can increase mid-stroke support and bottom-out resistance. Removing a spacer gives the air spring more volume, making it easier to use full travel.

This listing contains individual spacers and multi-packs for several FOX fork platforms. They are not interchangeable simply because two forks have the same stanchion diameter.

Before You Order

Check your fork’s exact model, year, travel and air-spring specification before ordering. The fork diameter alone is not enough to confirm compatibility. A 36 FLOAT, 36 Rhythm and 36 E-Bike+ fork, for example, may require different spacers.

Use your fork’s serial number or four-digit product code in the FOX Bike Tech Help Centre to confirm the correct part number, recommended starting configuration and maximum permitted number of spacers.

Never exceed the maximum spacer quantity specified by FOX for your fork model and travel. Do not cut, modify or combine incompatible spacers.

Our Thoughts

Volume spacers are useful once your sag and air pressure are properly set. They can help a fork resist bottoming without simply adding more air pressure, but they are not a substitute for getting the basic setup right. Start with small changes, make a note of the original configuration and test the fork before adding more.
