The Taipan S gives younger riders the confidence of a properly sized flat pedal without the oversized platform of many adult pedals. The smaller body fits younger feet more naturally, while the rounded pins provide excellent grip with a more forgiving design, making it a great upgrade for kids progressing their mountain biking skills.
A slim 14mm body improves ground clearance, while ten grip points per side help keep feet securely positioned. Rounded replaceable pins provide useful traction while being less aggressive against the shins than traditional sharp pins.
Better Proportions for Smaller Feet
The compact 95 × 80mm platform is shaped to provide appropriate support for smaller shoes. This makes it easier for riders to find a comfortable foot position and maintain control through corners, bumps and uneven terrain.

The replaceable pins feature rounded tips that are less aggressive than traditional sharp pedal pins. They still provide the traction needed for trail and everyday riding while helping reduce the severity of accidental shin contact.
As with any pinned flat pedal, suitable footwear and protective equipment are still recommended.
