Silver Rated Security with Clip-On Carrying.
The Hiplok D offers Sold Secure Silver rated security in a compact D-lock with an integrated carrying clip. Its CLIP + RIDE system attaches to a suitable belt, bag strap or pocket, so you can carry it without fitting a bracket to your bike.
A 13 mm hardened steel anti-rotation shackle provides the main security, while the rubberised coating helps protect your bike’s finish. It weighs 989 g and comes with three coded replaceable keys.
Compact Carrying Between Stops
The clip-on design leaves your bottle mounts free and makes it straightforward to move the lock between bikes. Check that the lock fits around your frame and usual locking point, then choose a carrying position that feels comfortable while riding.

The Hiplok D suits everyday riders wanting a compact Silver rated lock with convenient carrying options. For valuable bikes, longer unattended parking or higher-risk locations, ask us about locks with a higher security rating.
Our Thoughts
The carrying clip is the useful detail here, especially if you have limited mounting space or regularly switch bikes. As with any compact D-lock, check the fit carefully so you can secure the frame directly to a suitable fixed object.
