The HT Components T2SX BMX Race Clipless Pedals are designed for riders who need positive engagement, efficient power transfer and dependable performance under race pressure. Developed specifically for BMX racing, they combine a compact aluminium platform with HT’s exclusive clipless system and a strong, race-focused construction.
The T2SX has been used and approved by leading BMX athletes including Niek Kimman, Bethany Shriever, Sylvain André, Laura Smulders, Alise Willoughby, Simon Marquart and Felicia Stancil.
Fast, Positive Engagement
HT’s exclusive clipless mechanism provides the secure and consistent connection needed for explosive gate starts and powerful sprinting. The dual-sided design allows quick engagement, helping riders get connected and produce power without losing valuable time.
Efficient Power Transfer
The compact 68 × 84mm body creates a direct connection between your shoes and the bike. This helps reduce unwanted movement and transfers pedalling effort efficiently during gate starts, accelerations and sprints to the finish.
X1 and X2 Cleat Options
The T2SX includes HT X1 and X2 cleats with fitting shims, allowing riders to choose their preferred amount of lateral float.
- X1 cleats provide 4° of lateral float
- X2 cleats provide 4.5° of lateral float
- Release angle ranges from 13° to 15°
The T2SX uses HT’s exclusive cleat system and is not compatible with Shimano SPD cleats.
Additional Shoe Stability
Two replaceable grip pins on each side increase contact between the pedal platform and your shoes. This creates a more supportive and stable feel during forceful starts, jumps and high-cadence sprinting.
Race-Ready Aluminium Construction
The extruded and CNC-machined aluminium body provides an excellent balance of strength and precise construction. A CNC-machined CrMo spindle creates a durable core capable of handling the repeated forces generated during BMX racing.
Smooth, Durable Bearings
A 686 sealed outer bearing and IGUS inner bushing provide smooth rotation while helping protect the pedal internals from dirt and moisture. This reliable bearing arrangement keeps maintenance requirements low throughout regular training and racing.
