A Proper Do-It-All Trail Bike
The Kona G2 Process 134 DL 29 is the sort of trail bike that feels at home almost anywhere. It climbs efficiently enough for long days in the hills but still has the suspension, tyres and confident handling needed when the trail becomes steep, rocky or fast.

RockShox Pike and Deluxe Ultimate Suspension
A RockShox Pike Select RC fork provides 140 mm of travel with a DebonAir spring and Charger RC damper. The Pike offers useful support and accurate steering without the additional weight of a heavier enduro fork.
At the rear, the RockShox Deluxe Ultimate Trunnion shock controls the bike’s 134 mm of travel. It provides adjustable damping and a supportive feel that suits everything from technical climbing to hard cornering and rough descents.
SRAM Eagle 12-Speed Drivetrain
The SRAM Eagle drivetrain uses a GX Eagle rear derailleur with an NX Eagle shifter, crankset and 11–50T cassette. This provides a broad gear range for steep climbs while keeping replacement parts straightforward to source and service.
A 32T X-Sync Eagle chainring gives the bike practical trail gearing and helps retain the chain over rough ground.
SRAM G2 RS Four-Piston Brakes
SRAM G2 RS hydraulic disc brakes provide four-piston stopping power with a controlled lever feel. A 200 mm front rotor adds useful braking power on steep descents, while the 180 mm rear rotor provides balanced control.
They are well matched to the Process 134’s intended use and provide suitable braking performance for regular trail riding, technical descents and occasional bike-park use.
29-Inch WTB Wheels
WTB KOM Team i30 TCS rims provide a 30 mm internal width suited to modern trail tyres. They are tubeless ready, allowing the wheels to be converted with compatible valves, tape and sealant.
The 29-inch wheels carry speed well across rough terrain and roll over roots and rocks more easily than smaller wheels. Formula Boost hubs use 15 x 110 mm front and 12 x 148 mm rear spacing.
Maxxis Minion DHF Tyres
Maxxis Minion DHF 29 x 2.5-inch WT tyres are fitted front and rear. Their 3C compound and aggressive tread provide strong braking and cornering grip on loose or technical trails.
This is a grip-focused combination. Riders spending most of their time on smoother or flatter trails may eventually prefer a faster-rolling rear tyre, but the standard setup gives the bike plenty of confidence from the outset.
Dropper Post Included
A TranzX +RAD internally routed dropper post allows you to lower the saddle from the handlebar before steep descents, corners and technical trail features.
Being able to move freely above the bike makes a substantial difference to control and confidence, particularly on a capable trail bike like the Process 134.

Our Thoughts
The Process 134 DL works because it avoids going too far in either direction. It has enough suspension and tyre grip to ride genuinely technical terrain but still feels lively on the trails most riders use every week.
The Pike Select RC and Deluxe Ultimate are particularly good inclusions. They give the bike a controlled and supportive suspension package without adding the weight of heavier enduro equipment.
The SRAM drivetrain mixes GX and NX components sensibly, placing the higher-level component at the rear derailleur where shift quality matters most. The WTB rims, four-piston brakes and dropper post also mean the bike is properly equipped from the start.
The dual Minion DHF tyre setup prioritises grip over outright rolling speed. That will suit riders using the bike on steep or loose trails, while anyone riding mostly smoother terrain can easily fit a quicker rear tyre later.
