Mix the complete sachet with exactly 500ml of water. When the drink comes into contact with stomach acid, Maurten's Hydrogel Technology transforms it into a hydrogel that encapsulates the carbohydrates before carrying them through the stomach.
Maurten Hydrogel Technology
Drink Mix 320 uses maltodextrin and fructose as its carbohydrate sources in a 1:0.7 maltodextrin-to-fructose ratio. Sodium alginate and pectin help form the hydrogel structure once the drink reaches the acidity of the stomach.
The drink has a neutral flavour rather than the strong sweetness found in many high-carbohydrate sports drinks. With 80g of carbohydrate in one bottle, it's designed for longer or harder sessions where taking in enough fuel becomes more important.
Mix It Correctly
Empty the complete sachet into 500ml of water and shake well until fully dissolved. Do not split the sachet or alter the water quantity, as the product is formulated around this mixing ratio.
Use clean water and avoid adding electrolyte tablets, drink powders or other ingredients to the same bottle. If you need additional electrolytes or fluids, carry them separately.
When to Use It
