Sinch Mode AT 1.5
The Sinch Mode AT 1.5 is a versatile e-bike for commuting, fitness riding and weekend exploring. Its Shimano EP500 motor takes the work out of hills and headwinds, while 29-inch wheels and a 100mm suspension fork make it comfortable on everything from city streets to gravel paths. With lights, mudguards, a kickstand and an MIK HD carrier already fitted, it comes ready for everyday riding.
Smooth Shimano Assistance
The Shimano EP500 mid-drive motor produces 60Nm of torque. That is plenty for daily commuting, rolling hills and carrying a loaded set of panniers without making the bike feel overpowered.
Because the motor works through the drivetrain, using the gears correctly helps it climb efficiently and makes better use of the battery. Assistance is available up to 45km/h where regulations permit.
504Wh Removable Battery
The Shimano BT-EN805 battery is integrated into the downtube but can still be removed for charging. Its 504Wh capacity is a sensible match for commuting, recreational rides and regular trips around town.
Range will change depending on the assistance mode, terrain, rider weight and weather. Riders using lower support levels on flatter routes will naturally travel farther between charges.
Comfort Beyond Sealed Roads
The SR Suntour XCM34 fork provides 100mm of travel, which helps take the sting out of potholes, corrugations and rough cycleways. A hydraulic lockout lets you firm the fork when riding on smoother roads.
The 29-inch wheels maintain momentum well and roll easily over uneven ground. CST Jack Rabbit 2.25-inch tyres add useful grip without feeling excessively heavy on sealed surfaces.
Simple, Durable Shimano Gearing
The Shimano CUES 9-speed drivetrain uses LinkGlide components developed to cope with the higher loads produced by an e-bike motor. Shifting is straightforward, and the 11–41T cassette provides a practical gear range for everyday riding and moderate climbs.
It is a conventional cable-operated system, so there are no drivetrain batteries or electronic controls to worry about.
Equipped for the Commute
Alloy mudguards help keep road spray under control, while the MIK HD rear carrier can hold up to 27kg. It provides a secure base for compatible panniers, baskets and other carrying accessories.
A 70-lux front light and integrated rear light are powered by the bike’s main battery. The rear light also has a sensor-operated brake-light function, and a kickstand is fitted for everyday convenience.

Why Riders Love the Sinch Mode AT 1.5
The Mode AT 1.5 suits riders who want one e-bike to cover workdays and weekends. It has the equipment needed for commuting, but its wider tyres and suspension fork mean you do not have to turn around when the sealed path ends.

The mid-drive motor provides enough support to make everyday climbs considerably easier without making the bike feel overpowered.
Comfortable Riding Position
The swept handlebar, comfort saddle and gel grips create a relaxed position that works well for longer rides and regular commuting.
Stable Handling
Large 29-inch wheels give the bike a settled feel and make rough roads, gravel and broken cycleways easier to deal with.
Reliable Manual Shifting
Shimano CUES keeps the gearing familiar and uncomplicated. LinkGlide components are also a sensible choice for a bike expected to receive plenty of regular use.
Ready to Carry Gear
The 27kg-rated carrier has enough capacity for commuting bags, shopping and touring equipment when used with compatible accessories.
Useful Standard Equipment
Lights, mudguards, a kickstand and platform pedals are included. You can start using the bike without immediately adding a long list of extras.

Our Thoughts on the Sinch Mode AT 1.5
The Sinch Mode AT 1.5 is the model we would point to when someone wants a practical commuter but does not want to be limited to sealed roads. The fork and wider tyres make a noticeable difference on rough cycleways and gravel, while the lights, mudguards and carrier cover the everyday essentials.
The Shimano EP500 motor is not the most powerful system available, but 60Nm is enough for the riding this bike is designed to do. The same applies to the 504Wh battery: it is smaller than those fitted to some premium touring e-bikes, but it provides sensible capacity for normal commuting and weekend use without paying for range every rider may not need.
Its 26.9kg total weight is worth considering if you need to carry a bike upstairs or lift it onto a high rack. If it can be stored at ground level and you want a comfortable e-bike that can handle a mixture of surfaces, the Mode AT 1.5 makes good sense.
