How to Use

Use the aerosol at room temperature. Thoroughly clean and degrease the drivetrain, then allow it to dry completely. Shake the can well before use.

Spray a moderate amount onto the inside of the chain links while slowly rotating the cranks backwards. Wipe away any excess with a clean cloth. For the best performance, allow the lubricant to penetrate overnight before riding.

Our Thoughts

The main difference here is the aerosol application. It's quick and convenient, particularly when maintaining several bikes, but you need to be more careful about overspray than with a dropper bottle.

We'd recommend spraying close to the chain rather than broadly across the drivetrain and keeping the aerosol well away from brake components. If you prefer applying one controlled drop to each chain roller, the standard bottled Muc-Off Wet Weather Lube is the better option.

Please Note

Keep the spray and any overspray away from brake rotors, brake pads, braking surfaces and tyres. Use in a well-ventilated area and keep the pressurised aerosol away from heat, sparks and open flames. Wet-weather lubes can attract more dirt than dry lubricants, so regularly clean the drivetrain and wipe away excess lube.
