Muc-Off Bio Grease is designed for the lower-speed moving parts and interfaces found throughout a bicycle, where long-lasting lubrication and protection against moisture are more important than the characteristics required from a chain lubricant.
Its water-resistant formula helps prevent corrosion and water ingress while reducing friction between moving components. This makes it suitable for jobs including bearings, bottom brackets, headsets and general bike assembly where a quality bicycle grease is required.
Made using renewable resources and without petroleum-based oils, the contents are readily biodegradable while still providing the durability needed for regular workshop use.

Why Use Muc-Off Bio Grease?
Grease performs a different job from chain lubricant. It's designed to remain in place around bearings, threads and component interfaces, providing lubrication while helping prevent moisture and corrosion.
Applying the correct grease during servicing and assembly can also make components considerably easier to remove when they eventually need maintenance or replacement.
How to Use
Start with clean, dry components and remove old grease and contamination before applying fresh Bio Grease.
Apply an appropriate amount to the bearing, thread or component interface being serviced, then assemble the component according to the manufacturer's instructions and recommended torque settings. Wipe away excess grease after assembly.
Our Thoughts
This is the sort of product we'd always have on the workshop bench. Headsets, bottom brackets, bearings and many threaded components all benefit from being assembled with the appropriate grease, particularly on bikes that regularly see wet conditions.
A small amount in the right place can prevent plenty of frustration later when it's time to service the bike again.

Always follow the component manufacturer's lubrication requirements. Some suspension components, freehubs, specialist bearings and carbon interfaces require specific lubricants or assembly compounds rather than general-purpose bicycle grease. Keep out of reach of children.
