Muc-Off No Puncture Hassle Inner Tube Sealant is designed to help seal small punctures in conventional inner tubes while you ride. Its water-based formula circulates inside the tube and moves towards escaping air when a puncture occurs, helping seal holes up to 4mm before they bring your ride to a stop.
It's a useful option for riders who want additional puncture protection but don't want or aren't able to convert their wheels to tubeless. It can be used across road, mountain bike, e-bike, commuter, urban, folding and touring bikes and is also compatible with suitable TPU inner tubes.

Why Use Inner Tube Sealant?
You don't need a tubeless wheelset to gain some of the benefits of sealant. Adding sealant inside an inner tube gives it the ability to deal with many smaller punctures automatically, potentially allowing you to continue riding without stopping to replace or patch the tube.
That can be particularly useful for commuting, touring and e-bikes, where avoiding an inconvenient roadside puncture can matter more than saving a small amount of weight.
How to Use
Check that your valve is compatible before starting. Schrader valves and Presta valves with removable valve cores allow the sealant to be added directly into the tube.
Add the recommended quantity for your tyre and tube size, reinstall the valve core and inflate the tyre to your normal riding pressure. Rotate the wheel to distribute the sealant throughout the tube.

Our Thoughts
This makes a lot of sense for bikes where reliability is more important than having the lightest possible setup. Commuter bikes and e-bikes are obvious examples – particularly e-bikes where removing a rear wheel at the side of the road can be considerably more involved than on a conventional bike.
It's not a guarantee against every puncture. Larger cuts, pinch damage and significant tyre damage can still stop you, so we'd still carry a pump and suitable puncture backup on longer rides.
Please Note
This product is for inner tubes only and should not be used as tubeless tyre sealant. Presta valves must have a removable valve core for installation.
Always check compatibility with your specific inner tube, particularly when using lightweight or specialist TPU tubes.
