Fast tubeless puncture protection for road, gravel and cyclocross tyres.
Muc-Off Road & Gravel Tubeless Sealant is designed specifically for the higher pressures and smaller-volume tyres used on road, gravel and cyclocross bikes. Its synthetic latex, water-based formula uses biodegradable mineral flakes and bamboo fibre particles to help quickly seal punctures up to 7mm.
The free-flowing formula spreads around the inside of the tyre and coats the tyre wall, ready to move towards and seal a puncture when air begins to escape. With pressure compatibility up to 110psi, it's designed to provide reliable protection across everything from high-pressure road tyres to larger-volume gravel setups.

Why Choose Muc-Off Road & Gravel Tubeless Sealant?
Road and gravel tubeless systems place different demands on sealant than larger-volume MTB tyres, particularly as tyre pressures increase. This formula is designed specifically for those conditions, helping seal punctures quickly while remaining free-flowing enough to distribute effectively inside the tyre.
How to Use
Shake the bottle or pouch vigorously before use so the sealing particles are evenly distributed.
Remove the Presta valve core and add the appropriate amount of sealant through the valve. If your valve does not have a removable core, pour the sealant directly into the tyre before fully seating the bead.
Refit the valve core and inflate the tyre to the pressure recommended by the tyre and rim manufacturer. Rotate the wheel and shake it from side to side to distribute the sealant around the inside of the tyre and bead area. Check that the tyre is holding pressure before riding.
Recommended Sealant Volume
- 23c and 25c road tyres: 40–50ml per tyre
- 28c road tyres: 50–60ml per tyre
- 30c–45c gravel tyres: 70–80ml per tyre
Add up to approximately 20ml more per tyre if additional puncture protection is required.
Our Thoughts
This is the Muc-Off sealant we'd choose for a road or gravel tubeless setup rather than simply using the MTB version. Road tyres run at higher pressures and gravel tyre volumes vary considerably, so using a sealant designed specifically for these applications makes sense.
As with any tubeless setup, don't install it and forget about it. Check your sealant periodically and top it up before an important ride, event or gravel trip. Hot weather and porous tyre casings can cause sealant to dry out more quickly.
Please Note
Sealant life varies depending on tyre construction, temperature, riding conditions and storage. Check the sealant regularly and top it up when required, particularly in temperatures above 35°C. Remove any previous sealant before installing this formula rather than mixing different sealants. When using a CO₂ inflator, position the valve at the top of the wheel so the gas is not injected directly into the sealant. Larger cuts may still require a tubeless plug, tyre boot or inner tube.
