Carry your tube and puncture essentials securely on the bike.
The Muc-Off Utility Frame Strap provides a simple way to carry essential puncture-repair gear directly on your bike rather than in a backpack or saddle bag. It can accommodate an inner tube for wheels up to 29 inches, along with smaller essentials such as a CO₂ inflator, tyre levers, cards or cash.
An adjustable strap allows it to fit a wide range of frame tubes, while dedicated elasticated loops help keep smaller items securely positioned and reduce rattling. The abrasion-resistant construction is designed to handle regular trail use, making it particularly useful for mountain bikers who prefer to ride without a pack.

Why Use a Frame Strap?
If you don't like riding with a backpack, a frame strap keeps the essentials needed for common trailside repairs attached directly to the bike. It also means your puncture kit stays with the bike rather than having to remember to transfer it between different riding bags.
For mountain biking in particular, it's a simple way to carry a tube and inflation equipment without filling your jersey pockets.
Our Thoughts
We like frame straps for shorter mountain bike rides where carrying a full pack feels unnecessary. Set it up with a tube, tyre levers and inflation kit and you've covered the basics for dealing with a puncture.
The dedicated loops are useful because simply strapping everything together can result in tools moving around or rattling against the frame. We'd still check the strap and contents before each ride, particularly after transporting or washing the bike.
Please Note
Check that the strap and its contents don't interfere with suspension movement, cables, bottles or your legs while riding. On carbon frames, make sure both the frame and strap are clean before installation to reduce the chance of trapped grit marking the finish.
The amount of equipment you can carry will depend on the size and shape of your inner tube and accessories.
The Pink and Green strap-only options do not include Muc-Off’s Waterproof Cargo Bag. Items attached directly to the strap remain exposed to rain, mud and trail spray. The Utility Frame Strap & Waterproof Cargo Bag Bundle includes the bag for additional weather protection. Check the selected option before ordering.
