Wide pneumatic tyres provide grip and cushioning on uneven ground, while the child-sized Magura hydraulic rear brake introduces proper speed control before your little rider moves onto a pedal bike.
Choose the Right Wheel Size
- 12-inch: The lower starting point for smaller or less experienced riders
- 14-inch: Provides additional room and rollover for taller or more confident riders
The Gen 2 frame accepts both 12-inch and 14-inch wheels using its flip-chip system. Each bike is supplied with the wheel size selected when ordering. The alternative-size Gen 2 Dirt Hero wheel kit is available separately.
Made for Riding on Dirt
Kenda Booster 2.20-inch pneumatic tyres provide considerably more grip and cushioning than the solid tyres fitted to many conventional balance bikes. This makes the Dirt Hero better suited to gravel paths, pump tracks and suitable beginner mountain bike trails.
The mountain bike geometry gives the rider a stable position while allowing enough movement to steer, balance and handle small trail features.
Magura Hydraulic Rear Brake
The Magura MT A2 hydraulic disc brake is designed for small hands, helping children learn how to control their speed with a proper brake lever.
A rotor guard helps shield the rear disc from accidental contact. The brake should still be checked regularly and an adult should confirm that the lever position is comfortable for the rider.
