A professional DOT brake bleed kit for regular workshop use.
The Park Tool BKD-1.2 is a complete hydraulic brake bleed kit for most DOT-fluid bicycle brake systems, including compatible SRAM, Formula, Hayes and Hope brakes. It is built for daily workshop use, with replaceable parts, secure syringe holders and a tough storage case to keep everything together.
A proper brake bleed removes air and contaminated fluid from the system, helping restore a firm lever feel and consistent braking. Brake fluid is not included.
Built for Commercial Workshop Use
The BKD-1.2 includes two syringes, hoses with shut-off clips, multi-size bleed blocks and adjustable syringe holders. The holders can be mounted to hold the syringes securely while you work, which is a simple but useful feature when bleeding brakes on a stand.
Multiple fittings are included for common bicycle hydraulic-brake standards, including SRAM M5, universal M6 and SRAM Bleeding Edge systems.
DOT Fluid Systems Only
This kit is only for hydraulic brakes that use DOT fluid. DOT fluid and mineral oil must never be mixed, including in syringes, hoses or fittings. Cross-contamination can damage seals and lead to brake failure.
For mineral-oil brake systems, use the Park Tool BKM-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit – Mineral Oil instead.
