The Park Tool BKM-1.2 is a comprehensive bleed kit for most mineral-oil hydraulic bicycle brakes. It includes the syringes, hoses, bleed funnel, blocks and adaptors needed to service compatible Shimano, Magura, TRP, Tektro, Trickstuff, SRAM DB8, Campagnolo, Promax and Clarks systems.
Built for regular home or commercial workshop use, every component is replaceable and the complete kit is supplied in a rugged reusable storage case. Brake fluid is not included.

Built for Regular Workshop Use
The BKM-1.2 includes two 20ml syringes, hoses with shut-off clips and adjustable syringe holders that keep the syringes supported while the bike is in a workstand. A bleed funnel, multiple bleed blocks and a broad range of threaded adaptors cover many of the mineral-oil brake systems commonly found in bike workshops.
The machined fittings cover several different bleed-port standards rather than relying on one universal connection. Park Tool also offers replacement parts for the kit, making it a better long-term option for regular servicing.
Mineral Oil Only
The BKM-1.2 is only for hydraulic bicycle brakes that use mineral oil. Never use it with DOT fluid.
DOT fluid and mineral oil must not be mixed in a brake system or in its service tools. Syringes, hoses, fittings and funnels used with one fluid type should never be used with the other. Cross-contamination can damage brake seals and may cause brake failure.

Compatibility depends on both the fluid type and bleed-port fitting. Check the exact brake model and manufacturer’s service instructions before beginning a bleed.

Our Thoughts
This is a proper workshop kit for anyone servicing several different mineral-oil brake systems. The range of adaptors, mounted syringe holders and replaceable parts makes it more useful than a basic single-brand kit. If you only service one brake model, a smaller dedicated kit may be enough. If you regularly work across Shimano, Magura, TRP, Tektro and other mineral systems, the BKM-1.2 is the more versatile choice.
