Fast Tubeless Puncture Repairs When Sealant Is Not Enough.
The Peaty’s Holeshot Tubeless Puncture Plugger Kit is a compact repair tool for holes that are too large for tubeless sealant to close on its own. It carries two plug sizes inside the handle, giving you a tidy, self-contained repair kit that is easy to take on every ride.
Its single-sided fork is designed to push the plug into the tyre without pulling it back out as the tool is removed. The short, slim stainless-steel fork also helps reduce the chance of damaging the rim tape during installation.
Single-Sided Plug Fork
Traditional fork-style tools can sometimes catch the plug and pull it back out of the puncture. Peaty’s single-sided design lets the plug sit in the curved section of the fork before being pushed directly into the tyre.
The pointed fork is kept as slim as possible to avoid unnecessarily enlarging the hole. A textured section on the shaft can be used to clean and prepare the puncture before inserting the plug.
Two Plug Sizes Included
Each kit includes one sheet of 1.5mm plugs and one sheet of 3mm plugs. The smaller plugs suit narrower punctures, while the larger plugs provide more material for bigger holes or cuts.
The plug sheets wrap around the tool shaft and store inside the aluminium body. This keeps the kit compact and helps protect the plugs from dirt and moisture until they are needed.
Built for Trail Use
The insertion fork is made from corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel, while the body is machined from anodised 6061 aluminium. A knurled body and ribbed lid provide useful grip when your hands are wet or covered in sealant.
Sealing O-rings help keep water and trail grime out while the tool is assembled. The Holeshot Plugger is available in a range of anodised colours to match other Peaty’s components and accessories.
How to Use It
- Unscrew the lid, remove the plug sheets and keep them somewhere clean.
- Screw the lid onto the base of the fork to create a secure handle.
- Locate the puncture and carefully remove any object still lodged in the tyre.
- Use the textured section of the shaft to clean and prepare the hole.
- Select a 1.5mm or 3mm plug to suit the puncture. If unsure, choose one slightly larger than the hole.
- Roll the middle of the plug into the curved section of the fork.
- Push the plug into the tyre, leaving a short section visible outside.
- Withdraw the tool, reinflate the tyre and check that the repair is holding.
Peaty’s plugs are pre-cut, so the short tail left outside the tyre does not normally need trimming. It will flatten against the tread as you ride.
A plug is an emergency repair rather than a guarantee that every damaged tyre can remain in service. Inspect the tyre properly after the ride. Cuts affecting the casing or bead may require an internal patch or tyre replacement.

Our Thoughts
A plugger is one of those tools every tubeless rider should carry. Sealant deals with plenty of small holes without you noticing, but a larger puncture can quickly end a ride if you have no way to plug it.
The Peaty’s design is compact, easy to grip and keeps both plug sizes stored inside the handle. We would carry it alongside a pump or CO₂ inflator and a spare tube for damage that cannot be repaired with a plug.
