Lightweight Balance Bike with Proper Pneumatic Tyres.
The Rad Runner 12-Inch Balance Bike helps young riders develop balance, coordination and confidence before moving to a pedal bike. Its lightweight magnesium-alloy frame is easy for smaller riders to control, while the pneumatic tyres provide more grip and comfort than solid foam alternatives.
The Neon Orange finish is bright and easy to spot, while sealed bearings and serviceable wheels make the Rad Runner suitable for regular driveway, footpath and park adventures.
Lightweight Magnesium-Alloy Frame
The one-piece monocoque frame combines low weight with a strong, clean design. A seamless foot deck gives children somewhere to rest their feet once they begin gliding, helping them practise balance without pedals getting in the way.
Pneumatic 12-Inch Tyres
Air-filled tyres provide useful cushioning and grip across sealed paths, driveways and firm park surfaces. Their pressure can be adjusted to suit the rider and conditions. Check the tyre pressure regularly and inspect both tyres before each ride.
Sealed Bearings and Serviceable Wheels
Sealed bearings in the wheel hubs and integrated headset help keep the bike rolling and steering smoothly while providing protection from everyday dust and moisture.
The spoked wheels use anodised alloy hubs and can be trued if they move out of alignment, giving the Rad Runner a more serviceable construction than many basic balance bikes.
Choosing the Right Size
A balance bike fits correctly when the child can sit on the saddle with both feet planted securely on the ground and their knees slightly bent. Check the minimum saddle height against the child’s inside-leg measurement before ordering.
