Description

Pressure-relieving support for low, performance-focused riding positions.

The Specialized Romin EVO Pro with Mirror combines the Romin’s long, curved profile with a 3D-printed Mirror pad. It is designed for riders who rotate forwards into a lower road, gravel or cross-country position but still want room to move along the saddle.

Mirror technology replaces conventional foam with a precisely tuned polymer matrix containing 22,200 struts and 10,700 nodes. This structure distributes pressure across a wider area and supports the sit bones without relying on thick, soft padding. Specialized’s pressure mapping showed up to 26% less pressure compared with a traditional foam saddle.

Why Choose the Specialized Romin EVO Pro with Mirror?

Choose the Romin EVO Pro with Mirror if you ride in a low, performance-focused position and prefer the support of a curved saddle. Its long profile provides room to adjust your position—sliding forwards for harder efforts or moving back during sustained climbing.

The Pro version uses the same Mirror pad as the S-Works model but pairs it with hollow titanium rails and a carbon-reinforced nylon base. It gives away a little weight but offers a more practical combination of durability, compatibility and price for regular road, gravel and off-road riding.

Free Retül Digital Sit-Bone Measurement

Mirror technology cannot make the wrong saddle shape or width fit correctly. Choosing between 143mm and 155mm should be based on your sit-bone measurement, riding position and pelvic rotation—not your body size or the width of your current saddle.

Visit Chain Reaction Christchurch for a free Retül Digital Sit-Bone Measurement. Our team can measure your sit bones, discuss how you sit on the bike and help determine whether the Romin shape and width are right for you.

Our Thoughts

The Romin EVO Pro with Mirror is one of the better choices for riders who naturally roll their pelvis forwards and want support in a lower riding position. Its curved shape helps hold the pelvis without locking the rider into one spot, while the long nose gives you more room to move than a short-nose Power saddle.

Shape still comes first. Riders who prefer a flatter platform may be better suited to the Phenom, while those who like a shorter saddle and a more fixed position should consider the Power. Once the correct width, saddle height, setback and angle are established, the Romin’s Mirror pad can provide excellent support for longer, harder rides.
