Lightweight performance with freedom to move.
The Specialized S-Works Phenom with Mirror combines the Phenom’s long, flat profile with pressure-relieving Mirror technology. It suits riders who like to move forwards and backwards on the saddle when climbing, accelerating or changing position across varied terrain.
Rather than conventional foam, Mirror technology uses a 3D-printed polymer matrix containing 20,055 struts and 8,735 nodes. This structure supports the sit bones while adapting to pressure more precisely. Combined with a concave, flex-tuned carbon shell, Specialized’s pressure mapping showed a 28% reduction in sit-bone pressure compared with a traditional foam saddle.

Carbon Rail Compatibility
The oversized 7 x 9mm carbon rails require a compatible seatpost clamp. They are not compatible with side-loading clamps designed only for standard 7mm round rails. Check your seatpost compatibility before fitting or ask our workshop team for advice.
Why Choose the Specialized S-Works Phenom with Mirror?
Choose the S-Works Phenom with Mirror if you prefer a longer, flatter saddle that lets you adjust your position while riding. This freedom of movement can be particularly useful during seated climbing, higher-power efforts and technical riding where your position regularly changes.
The full-carbon construction makes this the lightest and most performance-focused Phenom with Mirror. Riders wanting the same general shape and Mirror support with more practical metal rails should also consider the Phenom Pro with Mirror.
Free Retül Digital Sit-Bone Measurement
Mirror technology cannot compensate for the wrong saddle width or an unsuitable shape. Choosing between 143mm and 155mm should be based on your sit-bone measurement, riding position and how you naturally move on the bike—not your body size or the width of your existing saddle.

Our Thoughts
The S-Works Phenom with Mirror is a strong option for an active rider who finds a short-nose saddle too restrictive. Its flat 270mm profile provides noticeably more room to move than the Power shape, while the Mirror structure helps spread pressure without feeling like thick, soft padding.
This is still a firm, performance-oriented saddle and its price reflects the carbon shell, carbon rails and low weight. We would choose it for its shape first, Mirror support second and weight saving third. Correct width, height, setback and angle remain essential to getting the expected comfort from it.
