The Specialized S-Works Power is a lightweight, short-nose saddle for riders who prefer a stable, centred position and a direct connection to the bike. Its broad rear platform supports the sit bones, while the wide Body Geometry channel helps relieve pressure on sensitive soft tissue when the rider rotates forwards.
A FACT carbon shell, oversized carbon rails and minimal Level 1 padding keep the weight exceptionally low. This is a firm, performance-focused saddle rather than a heavily cushioned comfort model.

Carbon Rail Compatibility
The oversized 7 x 9mm carbon rails require a compatible seatpost clamp. They are not compatible with side-loading clamps designed only for standard 7mm round rails. Check your seatpost compatibility before fitting or ask our workshop team for advice.

This model is considerably lighter than the Power Comp but does not provide additional cushioning. Riders wanting more pressure distribution should consider a Power saddle with Mirror, while those wanting the Power shape at a more accessible price may find the Power Comp more practical.

Our Thoughts
The S-Works Power is an excellent race saddle for the right rider, but it should not be treated as a general comfort upgrade. Level 1 padding is deliberately thin and firm, so it works best with quality padded cycling shorts and a well-set riding position.
The short Power shape suits riders who settle into one main position and want solid support when pedalling hard. If you move forwards and backwards frequently, the longer Phenom may give you more freedom. Riders who rotate further forwards and prefer a curved saddle should look at the Romin EVO.
We would choose this model for its shape and low weight—not simply because it carries the S-Works name. Correct width, saddle height, setback and angle remain far more important than saving a few grams.
