Short, flat and built for road riding

The Selle Italia Flite Boost TM Superflow is a compact road saddle for riders who prefer a flatter platform and enough room to change position. It keeps the recognisable Flite shape but shortens the nose and adds a large Superflow cutout through the centre.

This TM version uses manganese rails and a Soft-Tek cover, making it a practical option for riders who want the Flite Boost shape without stepping up to carbon rails.

A flat profile with room to move

The Flite Boost is fairly flat from front to back. It works well for riders who move around on the saddle, rotate their pelvis forward or slide towards the nose when climbing and riding at a harder pace.

Although its 250 mm length is shorter than a traditional Flite, it does not lock you into one position. There is still enough usable surface to settle back during steady riding or move forward when putting down more power.

Superflow pressure relief

The large Superflow cutout reduces contact through the centre of the saddle. This can help riders who experience pressure or numbness, particularly when riding in a lower road position.

A cutout is only part of the answer. The saddle still needs to be the correct width and set at the right height, angle and fore-aft position. Even a small adjustment can make a noticeable difference, so it is worth checking the setup before deciding a saddle shape does not suit you.

Manganese rails and Soft-Tek cover

The manganese tube rails offer a sensible balance of strength, weight and price. Their standard 7 mm round profile fits most conventional seatpost clamps, although it is always worth checking your clamp before ordering.

The Soft-Tek synthetic cover is durable, easy to clean and well suited to regular road use. At approximately 233–235 g depending on width, this version remains reasonably light without the higher cost of carbon rails.

Choosing the correct width

The Flite Boost TM Superflow is available in two widths: S3 at 135 mm and L3 at 145 mm. Choose the width that supports your sit bones and suits your riding position rather than assuming the narrower option will automatically be faster or more comfortable.

If you are unsure where to start, visit us for a free Retül measurement or read our sit-bone measurement and saddle-size guide.

Our thoughts

This is a good choice for road riders who like a compact saddle with a flat profile and plenty of pressure relief. The manganese rails keep the price sensible while retaining the established Flite Boost shape. Getting the width right is important, so take advantage of our free in-store measurement if you are between the two sizes.
