The Selle Italia Novus Boost EVO Gravel TM Superflow brings the stable, supportive Novus shape to mixed-surface riding. It is designed for gravel riders who prefer a more settled-in saddle feel, with extra padding, vibration control and a Superflow cut-out for the long climbs, rough roads and loose kilometres that come with proper gravel riding.

Waved shape for a secure riding position

The Novus has a waved profile rather than a flat or neutral platform. This gives the rider a defined place to sit and is particularly well suited to more static riders or riders with a posterior pelvic tilt. When the road gets rough, that added structure can feel more secure than a flatter saddle that encourages you to move around more.

Gravel-specific comfort

An additional padded insert helps take the sting out of corrugations, hardpack and rough sealed roads. The saddle also uses a shock absorber between the shell and rails to reduce vibration before it reaches the rider. It remains light enough for a performance gravel bike, but puts comfort first where a gravel saddle should.

Superflow pressure relief

The large Superflow cut-out reduces pressure through the perineal area, particularly useful when you are seated for long stretches or riding further forward into a headwind. Combined with the waved shell, it supports your sit bones while relieving pressure through the centre of the saddle.

Compact Boost design

The shorter Boost nose offers good freedom to move when climbing, pedalling hard or changing your position on varied terrain. It keeps the saddle compact without losing the support that makes the Novus shape a good option for longer, steadier rides.

Strong, flexible Manganese rails

Manganese tubular rails balance strength, weight and useful flex. They use a standard 7 mm round rail, making this saddle compatible with most conventional seatpost clamps. The carbon-powered nylon composite shell provides a stable foundation, while the Soft-Tek cover is durable and comfortable for regular off-road use.

This version is supplied in L3 only, measuring 145 × 245 mm. Correct width and saddle shape matter more than adding padding. This is a good gravel saddle for riders who prefer a more supported, less mobile position than an SLR or Flite offers. The extra padding and shock absorber are worthwhile for long rough rides, while the short nose keeps it modern and easy to pedal. It is particularly well suited to long gravel loops, bikepacking rides and mixed-surface training.
