A comfortable everyday saddle with a reflective rear panel for added visibility around town.
The Selle Royal Vivo is designed for commuting, recreational riding and everyday trips around town, with a reflective panel across the rear of the saddle providing some extra visibility in low-light conditions.
Royalgel cushioning helps distribute pressure across the saddle, while an ergonomic centre channel provides relief through sensitive areas. At the rear, Selle Royal's Integrated Clip System gives you a simple attachment point for compatible saddle bags and accessories.
The Vivo comes in Moderate and Relaxed versions. The Moderate is narrower and designed for riders with some forward lean towards the handlebars, while the wider Relaxed version suits a more upright riding position.

Moderate or Relaxed?
The 178mm Moderate is the one we'd look at if you're sitting reasonably upright but still leaning towards the handlebars. It gives you a supportive platform without the extra width of a saddle designed for a fully upright position.
The 201mm Relaxed is designed for riders sitting further upright and carrying more of their weight through the saddle.
Don't automatically choose the Relaxed because it's wider. The right choice depends on your riding position and sit-bone width rather than simply how much saddle is underneath you.
Extra Visibility for Everyday Riding
The reflective rear section is a useful addition for commuting and riding around town, particularly during winter when you're more likely to be riding in poor light.
We'd still consider proper front and rear bike lights essential for riding in the dark. The reflective section adds visibility but shouldn't be treated as a replacement for a rear light.
Our Thoughts
The Vivo is a practical saddle for an everyday bike. You've got plenty of Royalgel cushioning, a centre channel for pressure relief and the reflective rear panel is a sensible feature for a bike that's regularly used for commuting.
We also like having two shapes to choose from. If you're leaning forward towards the bars, we'd start with the Moderate. If you're sitting much more upright, that's when we'd look at the Relaxed.
As always, we'd rather get the width and shape right first than simply put you on the widest, softest saddle. That's usually a much better starting point for long-term comfort.
