More Range for Bigger Days
The Specialized Full Power Range Extender adds 280 Wh of extra battery capacity to compatible Specialized 3.1 Full Power e-bikes. It is a useful addition for long trail days, big climbs, double laps or rides where charging is not an option.
It mounts securely in the dedicated Full Power bottle-cage mount using a twist-lock design, then connects to the bike’s main battery system. Specialized claims up to 90 more minutes of riding time, although actual range will vary with assistance mode, rider weight, elevation, terrain, temperature and how hard the motor is being used.
Compatibility
This 280 Wh Range Extender is compatible with Specialized 3.1 Full Power systems on the Levo 4, Levo 4 EVO, Levo R, Vado 3 and Vado 3 X.
It is particularly useful with the S-Works Levo R Ultralight. Keep the lighter 600 Wh setup for normal rides, then add the extender when the day calls for more range.

The Range Extender cable is sold separately. You will need the correct cable to connect the battery to your bike, so make sure to add one to your order.

Who Is It For?
This is for riders who occasionally need more range than their standard battery provides. It makes sense for long backcountry rides, multiple laps, holiday riding, colder conditions or anyone who regularly uses higher assistance modes on steep terrain.

The Range Extender is not essential for every ride, which is exactly why it is useful. Leave it at home for a normal local lap, then fit it when the plan is bigger.
