Short-nose support for a more forward riding position.
The Specialized Power Comp with MIMIC is a short-nose performance saddle designed to support riders who rotate their pelvis forward on the bike. Its broad rear section supports the sit bones while the shorter nose reduces excess material at the front, making it easier to settle into a lower road, gravel or XC riding position.
Instead of using a conventional open cut-out, MIMIC technology combines multilayered materials through the centre of the saddle. This creates softer, more supportive contact around sensitive areas without the firm edges that some riders experience around a cut-out.
Level 2 padding provides moderate cushioning while maintaining good connection with the bike. It is noticeably firmer and more performance-focused than the Level 3 padding used on the Bridge Comp with MIMIC.

Why Choose the Specialized Power Comp with MIMIC?
The Power Comp with MIMIC suits riders who prefer a short saddle and spend time in a moderately forward or lower riding position. It is a particularly good option for riders who like the support of the Power shape but experience pressure or discomfort around the centre of a conventional saddle.
Riders with a more upright position or those wanting softer cushioning may be better suited to the Bridge Comp with MIMIC. The correct choice depends on your sit-bone width, flexibility, riding position and how you naturally sit on the bike.

Our Thoughts
The Power Comp with MIMIC is one of our better options for riders who sit forward and want targeted soft-tissue support without moving to a heavily padded saddle. The shorter nose provides useful clearance in a lower riding position while the Level 2 padding retains the firmer support expected from a performance saddle.
It is important not to choose this saddle by appearance or padding alone. A Power saddle in the correct width can be very comfortable, but its shape will not suit every rider. Sit-bone width gives us a reliable starting point, then riding position and pelvic rotation help determine whether the Power is the right shape.
