Pavé Seatpost and AfterShock Design
At the rear, Specialized’s dropped seat clamp exposes more of the S-Works Pavé carbon seatpost. The post is designed to flex in a controlled way, reducing vibration and sharper impacts through the saddle.
Specialized calls the combination of the Pavé seatpost and dropped clamp AfterShock. Unlike conventional rear suspension, it improves rider comfort while retaining a rigid and efficient rear triangle.
Endurance Geometry

The fitted Mondo 700 x 32c tyres use Specialized’s GRIPTON T5 compound. They provide more cushioning and grip than traditional narrow road tyres while still rolling efficiently on sealed surfaces.
The frame has clearance for tyres up to 38c, or approximately 40mm measured width depending on the tyre and rim combination. This allows riders to add more comfort and traction for rough roads, poorly maintained back roads and light gravel.

The FACT 10r carbon frame has a claimed weight of approximately 950 grams and uses aerodynamic tube shapes developed through Specialized’s FreeFoil library. A threaded bottom bracket helps keep future servicing straightforward.
