The Specialized S-Works Evade 4 LTD – Built for Legends combines the performance of the Evade 4 with an exclusive Made in Racing Red finish created to match the limited Epic, Crux and Tarmac bikes in the collection.
This is a one-time production colour rather than an ongoing model. Underneath the finish is Specialized's aero race helmet for road, gravel and cross-country riding, with improved ventilation, a new head shape and a more adjustable fit system.
WinTunnel-Tested Aerodynamics
The Evade 4 was developed through more than 100 hours of aerodynamic and thermal testing, with feedback from WorldTour riders including Remco Evenepoel, Demi Vollering and Paul Magnier.
It's designed for riders wanting an aerodynamic helmet without moving to a closed time-trial design. That makes it suitable for road races, fast group rides, gravel events and cross-country racing where ventilation still matters.
4D Cooling and MouthPort Ventilation
Specialized's 4D Cooling system combines redesigned vents, internal channels and a MouthPort above the brow to draw air through the helmet.
Specialized states that the Evade 4 is 2.4% cooler than the Evade 3. It remains an aero-focused helmet, but the improved airflow makes it more practical for longer races, sustained climbs and warmer conditions.
BOA Fit and Mips Air Node Pro
The BOA Fit System with FS2 provides a micro-adjustable 360-degree wrap around the head. Combined with the updated head shape, it's designed to spread pressure more evenly and improve stability without needing to overtighten the retention dial.
Tri-Fix 5 splitters help position the straps around the ears, while Mips Air Node Pro is integrated into the padding rather than using a separate plastic liner. The pads are designed to allow a small amount of movement during certain angled impacts while also helping manage sweat.

Fit Advice
Measure around the widest part of your head and use the Specialized size guide as your starting point. The Evade 4 has a new internal head shape, so don't assume it will fit identically to an Evade 3. It should sit level, cover the forehead and remain stable without excessive pressure from the BOA system.
