The Specialized S-Works Power EVO with Mirror is a lightweight performance saddle developed for riders who move forwards and backwards as their effort and riding position change. Compared with the original Power shape, the EVO has a wider nose, revised wing flare and longer rails to provide better support across a wider range of positions.
Mirror technology replaces conventional foam with a 3D-printed polymer structure containing approximately 47,000 individually tuned struts. Different areas can be made firmer or softer, helping support the sit bones while reducing pressure through the nose and centre of the saddle.
The FACT carbon shell and carbon rails keep the weight low, making this the top-level Power EVO option for road, gravel and XC racing.

Specialized’s pressure-mapping tests report:
- 34.1% less nose pressure than comparable foam saddles
- 28.8% less sit-bone pressure than comparable foam saddles

These figures come from Specialized’s own testing. Individual comfort still depends on choosing the correct width, setting the saddle position properly and matching the shape to the rider.

Carbon-Rail Compatibility
The S-Works Power EVO uses carbon rails, so seatpost-clamp compatibility must be checked before installation. Some seatposts require different clamp hardware for carbon saddle rails and standard round-rail clamps may not be suitable.

The Power EVO is a useful evolution of the original Power rather than simply a more expensive version of the same saddle. The wider nose provides better support when a rider moves forward and the revised flare gives the hamstrings more clearance when pedalling.
Mirror technology can distribute pressure very effectively, but it cannot compensate for the wrong width or poor saddle setup. At this price, we strongly recommend measuring the rider, checking the riding position and confirming carbon-rail compatibility before fitting it.
