Built for time trial racing. Aerodynamic. Adjustable. UCI legal.
The 2027 Specialized S-Works Shiv TT Disc Module is the starting point for a purpose-built time trial bike. Its FACT 11r carbon frame, integrated cockpit and adjustable front end are designed for riders who need outright speed without sacrificing fit, braking control or handling on technical courses.
This is a module rather than a complete bike, allowing you to choose the drivetrain, wheels, brakes and finishing components that suit your position, racing goals and budget. Internal routing is designed for electronic drivetrains only.
Aerodynamics for Real Time Trial Courses
The Shiv TT was developed in Specialized’s Win Tunnel and shaped within UCI regulations. Its aerodynamic design is intended to perform across more than flat, straight courses, with a lighter chassis and improved handling for corners, rolling terrain and technical time trials.
The disc-brake-specific frame and fork provide the braking consistency needed for variable weather, rough surfaces and courses where carrying speed into and out of corners matters.
A Highly Adjustable Front End
Time trial speed depends heavily on the rider’s position. Using Retül fit data and feedback from professional riders, Specialized developed an adjustable front end with updated spacers, armrests, bridge components and extension sockets.
The integrated one-piece basebar and stem reduce unnecessary front-end hardware while providing a stable platform for holding an aerodynamic position. Forward arm-pad positioning is also supported for riders whose fit requires it.
FACT 11r Carbon Construction
The S-Works FACT 11r carbon frame provides a stiff, lightweight foundation for a high-level TT build. The medium module has a quoted weight of 2.69kg, including the frame, fork, seatpost and integrated cockpit components used for the published measurement.
A threaded BSA bottom bracket simplifies servicing, while 12mm thru-axles and flat-mount disc compatibility bring the braking and wheel standards in line with current performance road bikes.

Who Is This Module For?
The S-Works Shiv TT Disc Module is intended for dedicated time trial riders building a UCI-legal race bike around their own position and component preferences.
It is best suited to:
- Time trial specialists
- Riders competing under UCI equipment regulations
- Riders who already have an established aerodynamic position
- Performance-focused riders planning a custom electronic-drivetrain build
- Riders who value adjustability and reliable disc braking on technical courses
Our Thoughts
A time trial bike only works properly when the rider can hold the position. There is little value in choosing the lowest-looking setup if it closes your hip angle, restricts breathing or becomes uncomfortable halfway through an event.
The adjustable front end is one of the Shiv TT’s most useful features because it gives us room to balance aerodynamics, power output and comfort. We strongly recommend confirming your position before choosing the frame size and finalising extension length, pad width and pad height. This is a specialist race module and deserves to be built around the rider rather than assembled from a generic position chart.
