How to Apply
- Clean the chain thoroughly and allow it to dry completely.
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Apply the wax generously while slowly turning the cranks backwards.
- Allow it to penetrate for approximately five minutes.
- Apply a second coat without wiping away the first.
- Leave the chain to cure for at least eight hours before riding.
Reapply when the drivetrain begins to sound dry or after riding in wet or especially dirty conditions. Avoid applying oily lubricants over the wax, as contamination can prevent it from bonding properly.

Polar Drip Wax suits riders who want a cleaner drivetrain but do not want the extra equipment and preparation involved with immersion waxing. Application is straightforward, although starting with a properly cleaned chain and allowing enough curing time are both important.
We would apply it after the final bike preparation rather than immediately before a ride. Leaving the wax to cure overnight is the easiest approach and helps prevent excess product from being carried onto the cassette and chainring.
