The plant-based formula is biodegradable, non-toxic and free from PTFE. It can be used on bicycle chains, derailleur pivots, shifter mechanisms and compatible control cables.
Made for Wet-Weather Riding
Stan’s Emulsifite technology is designed to resist water while you ride, helping the lubricant remain on the chain through wet and changeable conditions. When it is time to clean the drivetrain, high-pressure water activates the formula and helps release accumulated grime.
A wet lubricant will generally attract more dust than a dry-condition formula, so it is important to wipe away any excess after application. For consistently dry and dusty riding, a dedicated dry lube may be a better choice.
Biobased Formula
The USDA-certified biobased formula is made with renewable ingredients and contains no PTFE. The 120ml bottle is manufactured from recycled ocean-bound plastic, reducing the need for newly produced plastic.

How to Apply
- Clean the chain and allow it to dry.
- Shake the bottle before use.
- Apply a small drop to each chain roller while turning the cranks backwards.
- Allow the lubricant time to work into the chain.
- Wipe away excess lubricant with a clean cloth.
After a wet or muddy ride, rinse and clean the drivetrain as required. Allow the chain to dry before applying fresh lubricant. Keep all lubricants away from brake rotors, brake pads and rim-braking surfaces.
