The Stan’s Arch CB7 is a carbon mountain bike rim developed for trail riding and enduro racing. It combines high lateral stiffness with controlled radial compliance, helping the wheel hold its line through corners while reducing the harshness transferred through the bike on rough trails.
Its WideRight profile is designed around 2.25–2.50-inch mountain bike tyres, while Stan’s Bead Socket Technology supports straightforward tubeless setup with compatible tyres, tape, valves and sealant.
RiACT Carbon Construction
Stan’s RiACT radial impact-absorbing technology uses a purpose-built carbon lay-up and low-profile rim shape. The rim is designed to flex radially by up to 10mm under a significant impact while retaining lateral support.
This controlled movement helps the wheel absorb sharp trail impacts rather than transferring all the force directly to the tyre, suspension and rider. It can also reduce the risk of tyre pinch damage when using appropriate pressures.
RiACT does not make the rim immune to damage. Tyre pressure still needs to suit the rider, tyre volume, terrain and riding style.
WideRight Rim Profile
The Arch CB7 is optimised for 2.25–2.50-inch tyres. Its internal width supports the tyre without creating an excessively square profile, helping maintain predictable cornering and sidewall support.
Low-profile sidewalls reduce unnecessary material and help the tyre take on its intended shape. Stan’s patented Bead Socket Technology is designed to make compatible tubeless tyres easier to inflate and provide a secure bead fit.
