Stan’s Presta Valve Cores are replacement cores for compatible removable-core Presta valves. They are useful for replacing a bent, damaged or sealant-blocked core without changing the complete valve stem.
Choose a single core for an individual repair or a 50-piece workshop pack for regular tubeless servicing.
When to Replace a Valve Core
A worn or blocked core can cause slow inflation, inaccurate pressure readings or a persistent air leak. Before replacing it, remove the core and check whether dried sealant can be cleaned away.
If the core is bent, corroded, damaged or still leaking after cleaning, replacement is normally the best option.
Installation
Remove and install the core with a compatible Presta valve-core tool. Tighten it only enough to create a reliable seal, as excessive force can damage the core or valve stem.
After installation, inflate the tyre and check for leaks around the valve. If air continues to escape, inspect the complete valve, rim tape and valve base.
