The Stan’s 35mm Universal Valve is a straightforward replacement or workshop spare for compatible tubeless-ready rims. Its durable brass construction, removable valve core and shaped rubber base make it suitable for a wide range of mountain bike wheels, including compatible Stan’s MTB rims.
Choose from a single valve, a pair or a 25-piece workshop pack depending on whether you are replacing one damaged valve, setting up a complete wheelset or stocking the workshop.
Check the Required Valve Length
The 35mm stem is intended for shallower rims where enough of the valve remains exposed for the pump head and retaining nut.
Measure the rim depth before ordering. Deeper-profile rims may require a longer valve. The fitted valve needs to leave enough exposed stem for easy inflation and sealant maintenance.
Universal Rubber Base
The shaped rubber base sits against the rim bed to create an airtight seal around the valve hole. It fits valve holes up to 8mm in diameter and works with many common tubeless-ready rim profiles.
Compatibility should still be checked before installation. The valve must sit securely against the rim tape without rocking, distorting the rubber base or interfering with the tyre bead.
Removable Valve Core
The removable Presta valve core increases airflow when seating a tyre and makes it easier to add compatible tubeless sealant through the valve.
Not every sealant can be installed this way. Stan’s Race Day Sealant contains larger sealing crystals and must be poured directly into the tyre because it can block valve stems and sealant injectors.
