Convert Universal+ Valves to the Full Exo-Core System.
The Stan’s Exo-Core Housing Kit upgrades a pair of Stan’s Universal+ tubeless valves to the full Exo-Core system. It replaces the conventional Presta cores with Exo-Core housings and brass core pins, providing higher airflow and easier valve maintenance.
The kit includes enough parts to convert two valves. Universal+ valve bodies are required and are not included.
Exo-Core Performance
The Exo-Core design provides increased airflow during inflation and when adding compatible tubeless sealant. Its serviceable core is designed to resist clogging and can be removed without a traditional Presta valve-core tool.
When fitted to Stan’s Universal+ valve bodies, the completed valves retain the insert-compatible airflow ports and shaped rubber bases designed to seal against modern rim profiles.
Simple Universal+ Conversion
- Remove the existing Presta core from each Universal+ valve.
- Insert the supplied Exo-Core brass core pin.
- Thread the Exo-Core housing onto the valve body.
- Check that the valve operates and seals correctly before riding.
This kit is specifically designed for Stan’s Universal+ valves. It is not a universal upgrade for standard Presta tubeless valves from other ranges.

Important Sealant Note
Standard injectable tubeless sealants can be added through the completed valve. Stan’s Race Day Sealant must still be poured directly into the tyre because its larger sealing particles can block valves and injectors.

This kit makes sense if you already own Universal+ valves and want the easier servicing and increased flow of Exo-Core without replacing the valve bodies. Check that your current valves are Stan’s Universal+ before ordering.
