Stan’s Race Day Tubeless Sealant is a high-performance formula for riders who prioritise puncture sealing over easy installation and longer maintenance intervals.
Compared with Stan’s Original Sealant, it contains approximately twice the sealing crystals as well as larger XL crystals. These particles work together to seal and reinforce larger punctures that may overwhelm a conventional tubeless sealant.
Powerful Puncture Sealing
The mixture of standard and XL crystals interlocks around the damaged area, creating a reinforced seal. This makes Race Day Sealant a strong choice for racing, rough terrain and higher-pressure road or gravel tyres where rapid air loss can make punctures more difficult to seal.
Its low-viscosity latex carries the sealing particles around the tyre, while the revised formula is designed to resist clumping and remain effective across a wide range of riding conditions.
Direct-Pour Installation Only
Race Day Sealant must be poured directly into the tyre before the final section of the tyre bead is fitted. The quantity and size of its sealing crystals will block valve stems, syringes and sealant injectors.
Do not attempt to install this sealant through the valve. Shake the bottle thoroughly before pouring so the sealing crystals are evenly distributed throughout the liquid.
Maintenance and Top-Ups
For the best performance, inspect the sealant approximately every three weeks. How long it remains liquid will depend on the tyre, temperature, humidity and local riding conditions.
Shaking the wheel can help confirm whether liquid remains inside, although opening the tyre provides a more reliable inspection. Rinse old Race Day Sealant from tyres that will be removed and stored for later use.
Race Day Sealant can be mixed with Stan’s Original Tubeless Sealant. If a tyre already contains Race Day Sealant, Stan’s Original may be injected through a removable valve core as a convenient top-up.
