Fast-Sealing Tubeless Protection for Road and Gravel
Stan’s Rolled Gold is a premium tubeless sealant developed for low-volume, high-pressure road and gravel tyres. Optimised for pressures between 35 and 100psi, its quick-acting formula helps limit air loss when a puncture occurs.
Unlike many general-purpose sealants that can spray out of a high-pressure tyre before sealing, Rolled Gold is formulated to remain inside the casing and react quickly. It can be poured directly into the tyre or injected through a compatible valve stem.
Designed for Higher Pressures
Rolled Gold builds on Stan’s Original formula with greater puncture protection for high-pressure tubeless systems. Its low-viscosity consistency spreads around the inside of the tyre, maintaining an even coating that can reach punctures quickly.
The formula is designed to seal punctures up to 7.8mm at 100psi under suitable conditions. Actual results will depend on the tyre, puncture shape, remaining pressure and riding conditions. Larger cuts may still require a tubeless plug or tyre boot.
Efficient Dosing and Easy Installation
The concentrated formula allows smaller doses than many conventional sealants. A 700 × 28c road tyre typically requires approximately 35ml, while a 29 × 2.4-inch mountain bike tyre requires approximately 80ml.
Rolled Gold can be poured into the tyre before fitting the final section of the bead. It can also be injected through a removable-core tubeless valve using the nozzle supplied with a compatible 125ml bottle or a suitable sealant injector.
Always confirm the recommended quantity for your tyre size and check that the valve and injector are compatible before installation.
Maintenance and Top-Ups
Sealant can remain liquid inside the tyre for several months, although temperature, tyre construction, riding frequency and local conditions all affect service life. Check the sealant level regularly and top it up before it dries out.
Remove the valve core before injecting additional sealant. After installation, rotate and shake the wheel to distribute the formula around the complete inner surface of the tyre.
