The three-lens versions are a good choice if you prefer a dedicated lens for each type of riding. Fototec versions change tint automatically, making them more convenient when the light changes during your ride.
Fototec lenses respond to UV light, so they may not darken fully behind a vehicle windscreen. Check the selected frame and lens description before ordering, as the supplied lens system differs between variants.
Wide Rimless Coverage
The oversized shield provides useful protection from wind, insects and loose debris. Removing the surrounding frame gives you a wide, uninterrupted field of view when looking ahead, checking the trail or glancing down at a bike computer.
The smaller XC shape provides slightly less overall coverage than the full-size Moab, making it a better option for riders who find larger shield-style glasses too wide or deep.

Who Is the Tifosi Moab XC For?
The Moab XC suits road, gravel and mountain bike riders who want the coverage and clear view of a shield lens in a slightly smaller shape than the full-size Moab.
Choose one of the three-lens versions if you regularly ride in clearly different light conditions and do not mind changing lenses. A Fototec version makes more sense for early starts, evening rides and routes where conditions can change while you are out.
Our Thoughts
The Moab XC fills a useful gap in the Tifosi range. It gives you the clean field of view and coverage riders like about modern shield glasses without being as large as the standard Moab or Rail.
The interchangeable versions offer the most flexibility if you are happy to select a lens before each ride. We would choose Fototec for rides that start before sunrise, finish late or regularly move between open roads and shaded trails.
As with any shield-style cycling glasses, check that the earpieces sit comfortably beneath your helmet retention system and that the top and bottom edges of the lens clear your helmet and cheeks in your normal riding position.
