The Tifosi Navar FC combines broad lens coverage with a lightweight half-frame design for cycling, running, golf and other active use. Its open shape provides a wide field of view without the bulk of a conventional full-frame sunglass.
Hydrophilic nose pads and Tifosi Glide earpieces help keep the glasses stable as you move, while the vented polycarbonate lenses provide airflow and protection from sunlight, wind and light debris.
Choose the Right Lens
- Gloss Black with AC Red: A contrast-enhancing lens suited to overcast weather, mixed light and changing outdoor conditions.
- Iron with Enliven Golf: A golf-specific lens designed to improve colour and contrast, making it easier to read changes in the course surface and follow the ball.
- Blackout with Smoke: A neutral-tint lens for bright sunlight that reduces overall brightness without significantly changing how colours appear.
The AC Red version is the most versatile option for mixed conditions. Choose Smoke for regular use in bright sunlight or Enliven Golf if the glasses will primarily be used on the course.
Wide, Unobstructed Vision
The large lens provides useful frontal and peripheral coverage, helping you see clearly when reading the road, watching the trail, moving through a group or following a golf ball.
The half-frame construction keeps the lower edge of the lens open. This reduces visual obstruction and gives the glasses a lighter, less enclosed feel than a conventional full-frame design.
Comfortable and Secure
The Grilamid TR-90 frame is lightweight, flexible and durable. Hydrophilic rubber at the nose becomes grippier as you perspire, helping the glasses remain stable during harder efforts.
Tifosi Glide technology allows the earpieces to slide on comfortably while providing a secure, low-bounce fit. At approximately 25g, the Navar FC is light enough for longer rides, runs, training sessions and rounds of golf.
The nose pads and earpieces provide a secure fit but are not fully adjustable. Riders wanting more control over the lens position may prefer a Tifosi model with adjustable nose and ear pieces.
Vented Polycarbonate Lenses
Lens vents improve airflow and help reduce fogging when riding or running at lower speeds. No sports glasses can remain completely fog-free in every combination of temperature, humidity and effort, but the vents give warm air and moisture a better opportunity to escape.
The shatter-resistant polycarbonate construction provides full UVA and UVB protection. Optically recentered lenses help reduce distortion and support a clear view across the broad lens shape.
The lenses are durable but should still be rinsed before cleaning if they are covered in dust or grit. A microfibre cleaning bag is included for storage and lens care.

Who Is the Tifosi Navar FC For?
The Navar FC suits cyclists, runners and other active users who want greater lens coverage without moving to a heavier full-frame design. The Iron version with Enliven Golf is a particularly good option for golfers wanting a lightweight frame with a lens designed specifically for the course.
Its Medium–Large fit is best suited to medium and larger faces. Check that the earpieces sit comfortably beneath your helmet retention system and that the lens clears your cheeks in your normal riding position.
Our Thoughts
The Navar FC is a practical choice if you like the coverage of a larger sports lens but prefer a lighter, less enclosed frame. The venting and hydrophilic nose pads are useful during harder efforts, while the 25g weight should remain comfortable over longer sessions.
Lens choice is important. We would choose AC Red for mixed or overcast riding conditions, Smoke for bright sunny days and Enliven Golf for regular use on the course.
Fit is the main point to check. The nosepiece is designed to grip securely but does not offer the same level of adjustment as Tifosi models with fully adjustable nosepieces and earpieces.
