The Tifosi Rail Race combines the wide coverage of an oversized shield lens with the airflow of a completely rimless design. It is made for road cycling, gravel riding, mountain biking, running and other high-output activities where a clear view and secure fit matter.
The lightweight frame, adjustable nosepiece and adjustable earpieces make it easy to fine-tune the fit around your face and helmet. Hydrophilic rubber contact points increase their grip as you perspire, helping the glasses remain stable during harder efforts and rougher sections of trail.
Choose the Right Lens
- Satin Vapor with Clarion Red: A bold mirrored lens suited to bright outdoor conditions.
- Matte White with Clarion Blue: A blue mirrored lens designed for bright riding conditions.

Oversized Rimless Coverage
The large shield lens provides plenty of coverage from wind, insects and loose debris without surrounding the lens with a heavy frame. The rimless design also gives you a wide, uninterrupted field of view when looking ahead or down towards a bike computer.
This extra coverage works particularly well in a lower riding position, where smaller glasses can leave gaps around the top or sides of the lens.
Excellent Airflow
The open frame and vented lens allow air to move freely around the glasses. This helps reduce heat and moisture build-up during long climbs, warmer rides and harder efforts.
No sports glasses can remain completely fog-free in every combination of temperature and humidity, but the Rail Race gives warm air and moisture plenty of room to escape.
Adjustable, Secure Fit
The adjustable nosepiece and earpieces allow the frame to be shaped around different face profiles and helmet combinations. Hydrophilic rubber becomes grippier when wet, helping the glasses remain secure as you perspire.
This adjustability also lets you change the lens position slightly to improve airflow, coverage or clearance from your cheeks and helmet.
Lightweight Grilamid TR-90 Frame
The frame is made from Grilamid TR-90, a lightweight nylon material chosen for its flexibility, durability and resistance to UV and chemical damage.
Despite the size of the shield lens, the Rail platform weighs approximately 32g, keeping it comfortable enough for long rides and endurance events.
Polycarbonate Lens Protection
The shatter-resistant polycarbonate lens provides protection from wind and loose debris while maintaining a clear view across the oversized shield. Full UVA and UVB protection helps protect your eyes during extended time outdoors.

Who Is the Tifosi Rail Race For?
The Rail Race suits riders and runners wanting plenty of eye coverage without the enclosed feel of a full-frame design. Its large shield works particularly well for road cycling, gravel riding, mountain biking and endurance events.
The Large–XL fit is best suited to medium and larger faces. Riders wanting a smaller version of the Rail shape should consider the Tifosi Rail XC.
Our Thoughts
The Rail Race is a good choice if you like the wide field of view provided by modern shield-style glasses but still want plenty of ventilation. The adjustable nosepiece and earpieces are particularly useful when fitting the glasses around a helmet.
Both available versions are aimed at brighter riding conditions. We would choose between them based mainly on frame colour and lens appearance rather than expecting a major difference in fit or coverage.
As with any larger cycling glasses, check that the top of the lens clears your helmet and that the lower edge does not rest against your cheeks in your normal riding position.
