The Tifosi Salto combines a square aviator shape with the lightweight materials and secure contact points normally found in sports eyewear. It is designed for everyday wear, travel and outdoor use, while remaining stable enough for walking, hiking and recreational riding.
The Blackout frame is available with either a standard Smoke lens or a Smoke lens with a Red Mirror finish. Check the selected option carefully before ordering.

- Smoke with Red Mirror: Provides the same neutral Smoke base tint with a brighter mirrored finish
Both options are intended for bright outdoor conditions. The mirror finish changes the appearance of the lens but does not make the glasses light-responsive or polarised.
Lightweight Thrive Frame
The plant-based Thrive frame is light and durable, keeping the complete glasses down to approximately 22g. The square aviator shape provides more coverage than a small lifestyle frame without feeling heavy through a full day of wear.
Secure Fit Without Looking Overly Sporty
Hydrophilic rubber nose pads increase their grip as they become wet, helping the glasses stay in place when you are active or the weather warms up.
Tifosi Glide technology allows the arms to slide on smoothly while maintaining a secure, low-bounce fit. The integrated hinges are also less likely to pull or catch on hair when taking the glasses on and off.
Polycarbonate Lens Protection

Who Are These Glasses For?
The Salto suits anyone wanting everyday sunglasses that feel lighter and more secure than a conventional fashion frame. They work well for driving, travel, walking, hiking and casual outdoor use.
They can also be used for recreational cycling, although riders wanting maximum airflow, adjustable contact points or a wider field of view may prefer a more cycling-focused model such as the Tifosi Rivet, Rail or Moab.
Our Thoughts
The Salto is a good choice when you want one pair of sunglasses that can be worn away from the bike without looking like cycling race eyewear. They are very light and the hydrophilic nose pads help keep them in place better than a typical lifestyle frame.
We would choose the plain Smoke lens for a more understated everyday look. The Red Mirror version offers the same useful base tint but stands out more in bright sunlight.
Fit is medium-to-large and the nosepiece is not fully adjustable. Riders with particularly narrow faces should try them on if possible, while anyone needing more space through the temples may prefer one of Tifosi’s larger-fit models.
